General information: Electronic information is one of the eight major high-tech fields supported by the state. Electronic information engineering is a major with a wide caliber and adaptability for the information, communication, and media industries. The major mainly learn professional knowledge of signal acquisition, processing, transmission, electronic information systems, and internet of things applications. The major of electronic information engineering aims to cultivate engineering and technical talents who master the design, development, and application ability of multimedia communication technology, multimedia information processing technology, and intelligent control system integration, and can engage in the research, design, manufacturing, application development and technical management of various electronic equipment and information systems. This major has two training directions: intelligent control and Internet of Things engineering. The study duration is 3-6 years, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering is awarded.

Main course: The main courses studied by students of electronic information engineering include fundamental circuit analysis, analog electronic technology, digital logic, sensing technology, signal and system, modern communication principles, digital signal processing, wireless technology, single-chip principle, interface technology, object-oriented programming, network database technology, automatic control principle, practical network technology, embedded system, etc.
