Dr. Zi Chengting is a professor and master tutor of the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Yunnan Agricultural University, was selected into the “young top talent” particular project of Yunnan high-level talent training support plan, and is currently the Deputy Dean of the School of Science. He is mainly engaged in researching natural product chemistry and chemical biology and the construction and application of mammalian cell chemical sensing platforms. His primary research focuses on discovering molecular modification and efficacy research of natural active molecules. Dr. Zi Chengting’s research team developed an intracellular probe targeting the tumor drug gefitinib and constructed the chemical synthesis of drug molecules, the design of microbial cell synthesis pathways, and the engineering of cells. Dr. Zi Chengting presided over two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two projects of the Yunnan Provincial Fund, five other projects, and participated in 12 key R&D projects in Yunnan Province and 12 national fund projects. He has published more than 70 academic papers in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Front. Chem., Front. Pharmacol., Int. J. Mol. Sci., among which 32 SCI papers are the first/corresponding author. He has applied for ten patents and has been granted two invention and two utility model patents on the editorial board of Med. Res. He is an invited reviewer for RSC Adv., Nat. Prod. Res., Front. Pharm., J. Chem. Res. and Arch. Der Pharm.
