Dr. Wang Xuanjun is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Science, Yunnan Agricultural University. He graduated from Jilin University with a Ph.D. and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington in the United States. Dr. Wang Xuanjun is currently the Dean of the College of Science of Yunnan Agricultural University and the Director of the Key Laboratory of Pu’er Tea Science of the Ministry of Education. His research focuses on secondary metabolic compounds and molecular targets regulating human metabolic immunity, their mechanism of action, and the development of new products based on the research results of molecular mechanisms. Dr. Wang Xuanjun presided over two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two major special projects/key R&D projects of Yunnan Province, and one critical project of the Outstanding Talents Support Program of Yunnan Agricultural University. He has published more than 70 scientific research papers, including those published in internationally renowned journals JCI, Clin. Can. Res., J. Hematol. Oncol., FASEB J, J. Immunol., Front. Immunol, Front. Plant., Front Pharmacol ., Eur. J. Nutr., Molecules, Food & Funct. BBRC, RSC Advances, JSFA, Protein Expression & Purification, et al. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Young and Middle-aged Academic Technology Leader in Yunnan Province.
