Dr. Qin Xiangdong is a professor and postgraduate tutor of the Department of Chemistry, School of Science, Yunnan Agricultural University. In addition, she is the director of the Biogas Industrialization Technology Engineering Research Center in Yunnan University and a member of the China Biogas Society. She graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Phytochemistry and Sustainable Utilization of Western Plant Resources, Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Dr. Qin Xiangdong has published more than 60 scientific research papers, including 20 SCI papers, obtained 41 authorized patents, three international invention patents, and edited one planning textbook of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (“General Chemistry”). In 2007, she won the first prize in the natural science category of the Yunnan Science and Technology Award. In 2011, she was rated as a school-level outstanding teacher. In 2013, she was ranked as an advanced teacher of the “Red Cloud Gardener Award.” In 2014, she was selected as one of the “100 Young Academic and Technical Leaders of Yunnan Agricultural University”. In 2015, she was rated as “Wu Daguan Award.” “Advanced teacher, in 2016, she was selected as the “Provincial Innovation Team for Farmland Pollution-free Production of Yunnan Agricultural University,” and won the 2017 Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Special Award in 2018.
